Hello! I am so excited to see you here!
My name is Bonnie Blackwell and I am a classically trained Soprano. I sing Opera, Musical Theater and anything that speaks to who I am. I Branded myself as the DorkieDiva a few years ago after I started my blog, which I’m not very good a updating :/. I chose The DorkieDiva because I am 100% both a dork and a diva. I love opera so much, and I have a big, bright, and bubbly personality so when I am talking about the art form that I love with my whole heart, I express that love in a manner that I completely own as being “dorky.” I also aspire to earn the title of Diva-to me, a Diva is a woman who commands the stage and uses her voice to touch others in a profound way.
So, that brings us here-to the boutique! I have this amazing logo (designed by Joshua Lawson) and I love putting it on things! I thought that if we’ve connected virtually, or in person and something I have sung, said or did resonated with you; it wold be fun to have physical things to represent our community!
I also wanted to share that any profit I make from your purchase goes towards furthering my career as a singing artist, right now that means helping to support myself while continuing my operatic training by earning my Masters degree!
